	HELPING HANDS - JB HI-FI'S WORKPLACE GIVING PROGRAM Started in November 2008, Helping Hands allows employees to donate to 8 charity partners through regular payroll deductions. All donations being matched by JB. JB recognises its' responsibility to give back to the community. We believe workplace giving is an efficient and effective way to give back. With JB Hi-Fi matching staff contributions dollar-for-dollar we effectively double the positive impact to our charities & community. We have over 1,100 staff contributing to the program each week.

	The Song Room Music and arts programs to disadvantaged children in selected schools and communities across Australia. www.songroom.org.au

	Inspire Developing web-based programs reaching millions to improve young people’s mental health and well being. www.inspire.org.au
	Redkite Providing real support to children, young people and their families through cancer. www.redkite.org.au
	Oxfam Oxfam Australia is part of a global movement of dedicated people working hard to fight poverty and injustice. www.oxfam.org.au
	Médecins Sans Frontiéres Médecins Sans Frontiéres (MSF) is the world’s leading independent organisation for medical humanitarian aid. www.msf.org.au
	Bush Heritage Australia Protecting Australia’s unique animals, plants and their habitats. www.bushheritage.org.au
	Sunrise Childrens Villages The Sunrise Children's Villages are two orphanages located in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, Cambodia. www.scv.org.au
	WHY THESE CHARITIES? JB staff members selected the charity partners to be included in the program. The final choices cover a broad range of areas of social concern. We originally began with 5 charities and have recently expanded to 8 to broaden the options for staff. The aim is to encourage staff to donate to smaller charities where the JB Hi-Fi staff and corporate donations would really make a big difference each month.
	CHANGE FOR CHANGE / WHAT IS CHANGE FOR CHANGE? "Change For Change" is our store "spare change" donation program. Donation boxes are installed in all Australian stores to encourage our customers to donate some of their spare change to help change the lives of many. All donations are divided evenly between our 8 charity partners.
	IS JB HI-FI LOOKING FOR MORE CHARITIES TO SUPPORT? JB Hi-Fi is not currently expanding the number of charities we support. Whilst we undertake an annual review of our charity partners, we prefer to focus our support on a limited number of organisations in order to maximise the benefit to our current commitments. This assurance provides our charities with the confidence that JB's ongoing sustainable support will allow them to develop long-term projects and ensure we help deliver their long term vision & short term goals together.
	HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE? Members of the public You can place your spare change into the “Change for Change” boxes located at all Australian JB Hi-Fi stores JB Hi-Fi Ltd staff members Grab a form from HR and have your donation from your wages automatically deducted with the added bonus of having JB match your donation $1 for $1.
