 the muteki surround system is one of the best great level of sound with many ways of distributing it. the sound system gives off an incredible bass sound on the subs is a must have for all bass lovers this system is one incredible piece of sound to the max and is a must have in your living room great sound system for games,music and movies.it's the best deal around when it comes to value for money.the subs are amazing and I'm buying a second system to put in my room I Love this system. The bass puts cracks in the main structure beams of my house. I do recommend that you use better quility wiring for better quality. It is a big system and does require room but it looks mean which kinda makes up for the bulkiness. Overall i rate this system fantastic. My neighbours and room mates well they might say otherwise but i LOVE this system. If you want value for money i suggest this system. I have not had the chance to turn dial up to really test this system but most of the time you really don't have to. When watching movies it actually feels like you are there. I duck when there is gun fire as it sounds like its all around. Music is a big passion of mine and this sound system backs it up. Whether is be Rock, Pop, Techno or Country this system will make it sound 110% Although I haven't tested the previous model (7500), I can tell you that this one is 5 stars (or very close to it). The spund is great. Plug it in to the ps3 and you have some mean home theatre. It looks great too. Its affordable, big bang for your buck. Unlike Yamaha where it's ugly as dogs balls and expensive as a Lamborghini! So yourself a flavour and get this machine. It does not disappoint. The only thing I would say could be improved is a USB input. But if you have an iPod/iPhone youcan purchase a separate media dock which ports straight to this mean machine. Get it today!  It is a wife blaster and a disappointing use of money.The output of over 1500 watts RMS just cannot be.The mains current would exceed 8 amps, assuming 100% internal efficiency. One 'spec I have says the system usage is 160 watts. This I can believe is close to the total output. This is about an amp on the mains side so the power amp would be fused to 2 amps. Externally driven seems to imply that the sub woofer 'speakers have an internal amp, and that, all readers should warn you. 200 watts RMS would mean a current of over 34 amps in the 'speaker leads. The supplied cables would catch alight! I love this theatre system being reading all the reviews on this system for months and months. Finally brought the system the other day and I don't regret it one bit. Do yourself and favor if your reading all these reviews and not sure DON'T WAIT GO AND BUY IT YOU WON'T REGRET IT !!! Great sound system for the price. Great clarity and two subwoofers, makes for great bass. No other sound system in this price range comes close with the volume output. Make sure it will fit in your room though! A bit on the bright side. Definitely not Marantz. So don't expect much. Also the Speakers not sharp and quick enough. Will op for something else like Kef or Epos. Has a few little quirks that keep it from perfection, but if you're looking for stunning quality and incredible value for money... look no further It has big as bass and loud as speakers. And when i only put in on 20 volume the bass blows me away. Well, what can one say about the Sony Muteki. Sensational is the one word that springs to my mind. Its a very loud and a very big sound system that is prefect for every bloke. The one thing that should be taken into concideration when purchasing this system is you must have a lot of room. An overall 10/10 for me. I just love the power of this system, I am buying two so I can shake my house to bits, the subs are awesome and the rest of the system is as well. The only thing I could fault is that the huge tower speakers don't provide as much bass as they look like they would, without the subwoofers the system lacks bass but with them you would be very surprised, for me Speakers get a 7/10 but the subs get 10/10 write a review
