Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turn back the clock Purchased this unit from JBhifi Geppsx about 3 weeks ago. Pros: Heavy unit ie 10kg !, looks expensive & sleek, Direct-drive, easy setup no alignment required, sounds good straight out ( a touch bright initially) of the box but gets better/ warmer after a few weeks once stylus beds in, sturdy dampening/ anti vibration feet works effectively even placing TT next to my speaker, universal inerchangeable headshell making/having multiple cartridge swap a breeze. Cons: cheap, inferior rca cable supplied, on/off push button located at the rear of unit next to power cable

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Ducks Nuts for the Price I was looking for a decent turntable, having bought a dodgy Rega Turntable and had nothing but problems. I thought I'd check out this turntable from Audio Technica. Well unpacking the beast was a job in itself, with each component firmly secured. It came with an alignment template for the stylus and full instructions on "setup". The power cord is removable, along with the RCA Terminals - which is a bonus because you can add your own RCA cable for a desired length. A USB interface is great, if you wish to record to PC. Once all is set up, this unit sounds absolutely fantastic !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LP5 a refined, understated and very capable Phono I bought the LP5 after looking at LP 120 and the Project turntables, I connected it to a Denon AVR and Dali speakers. It was packed very well with clear instructions for the assembly and alignment of the tonearm and perspex lid. The unit connected directly into the Phono jacks of the AVR input. It is manual operation except for the tone arm lifting/lowering. The turntable plays 33 and 45 rpm and has an adapter for the large hole LP/Singles. It plays really well and I have used albums from the 1970's and 80s so far. Sound interference from outside is attenuated by the large dampened feet used to support the turntable. Care needs to be taken when closing the lid when playing as it may cause some sound interference. Overall I am very happy with the turntable and delighted to be able to play my old vinyls again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I bought this turntable 1 week ago to replace my Linn Sondek LP12. In my opinion this turntable sounds just as good if not better and has so many more features. Direct drive, two speed, pre amplifier built in and digital USB output and if that isn't enough, it looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good turntable Got a huge discount from jb hi-fi that changed my decision of buying it overseas. This turntable rightly deserves the five star reviews it has received. Keep your eyes open for more genuine deals. John
