The EOS 80D, a powerful and fully equipped DSLR providing you with everything you need at your fingertips to advance your photography and video skills.

Combining leading imaging technologies – including a new 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and DiG!C 6 processor, alongside a new 45 all cross-type point AF system and fast responsive 7 fps shooting rate – the EOS 80D is a versatile camera for capturing striking stills and Full HD movies.

    Key Features

    Image Quality
Shoot your world with a brilliant 24.2 megapixel Canon CMOS sensor. The latest sensor provides stunning clarity and the freedom to crop in.

    Responsive Precision
Pushing to new heights, the EOS 80D can shoot at 7 frames per second, equipping you to capture the action with ultimate precision, while freezing the action thanks to the new 45 all cross-type point AF system.

    Pin Point Focusing
For pin-point focusing or wide-area tracking, the 45 all cross type AF points are individually selectable or grouped into areas, giving you greater control over composition regardless of where your subject is in the frame. When using lens combinations with narrow apertures, 27 f/8 compatible AF points offer focus, in even the most extreme situations.

    Accurate Exposure
The 7560-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor measures both visible light and invisible infra-red light, giving accurate exposures, while Flicker Detection ensures consistent exposure when shooting under flickering artificial lights. A new White Priority setting also helps you to reduce the appearance of warmer tones.

    Low light Image Quality
Designed to shoot in varying light conditions, the camera has a native ISO 100-16,000 range, expandable to ISO 25,600, and the AF system will continue to work even under moonlight (-3EV).

    DiG!C 6
Fast, powerful and innovative, DiG!C 6 is Canon's advanced imaging processor to date. It commands cutting-edge technologies to deliver stunning quality, seamless performance and intuitive operation.

    Advanced Video Recording
The EOS 80D features five creative filters for movies, such as diorama and monochrome, as well as HDR movies. Videographers can be confident the EOS 80D will help you achieve a professional looking result, with the ability to shoot at 60p in MP4 format – perfect for slowing down the action while still controlling focus. It also includes both headphone and microphone inputs, allowing you to capture and have full control over audio during a shoot.

    Touch Screen, Vari angle LCD
The 7.7cm (3.0”) Vari-angle Clear View LCD II Touch screen is ideal for movie shooting, Live View mode, or accessing functions quickly.

    Wi-Fi and NFC
Built-in Wi-Fi and Dynamic NFC connectivity makes it simple to connect with and share full resolution JPEGs to your smart device

    Remote Shooting

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent all rounder This camera is a well rounded performer with excellent image quality and great dynamic range that provides pleasing results. But it's lots of little things make this camera great. The flip touch screen makes vblogging a breeze, the touch screen itself makes navigation of menus and camera set up so easy and the updated 45 point autofocus is a delight to use. Liveview operation is fantastic, not only for video but for macro or studio work. The 7 frames per second provides for entry-level sports and wildlife operation as does the wider ISO range (up to 25,600). While lacking 4K video, its 1080/60 FPS video is none to shabby and has the next generation of dual pixel technology which results in stunning focus pulls, all controlled from the touch screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING I got this camera a few days ago, tossing up between a 70D and 80D, the reason I went for the 80D was because of the 45 points autofocus compared to 19. I use this for Youtube and the video quality is unreal! I bought a 10-18mm lens to go with this camera and if you love to video this is the camera and lens for you. I couldn't be happy and worth every cent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Camera I am a wildlife photographer in training and recently upgraded from my trusty Canon 700D to the Canon 80D as I am wanting to expand my photography skills. I am quite impressed with the 80D so far. I had some trouble getting used to the autofocus system, still getting used to it, but other than that it's been amazing! I am happy with the image quality and video quality too. It also has really good battery life! Great camera for wildlife photographers that need a camera with good battery life, low light capability and good image/video quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best all round camera by far. I had an A6000 which took good pics but you needed a dozen batteries in the pocket and it overheated during video. The Canon 80d does not have any such issues, great video, great photos and good battery life. What more can I say. Oh I also have 5D mkii and this is more practical for me. Highly recommended camera.
