Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first DSLR! I bought this camera in July 2016 as a complete beginner, wanting to get into photography, videography and editing. Being a beginner it took time to get used to all of the main features of the camera as you would expect, but with the help of the detailed product manual and some hours of trail and error I got the hang of it fairly quickly. The one thing the manual does not explain whatsoever is how to connect the camera to iPhone and export photos to the Canon Camera Connect app. Luckily the app itself now has detailed step by step instructions on how to do this. Overall I am very happy with the camera and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get into photography or photographers wanting to upgrade their current camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Camera Purchased Canon 80D From JB Hi FI on Christmas 2016. An absolute amazing Camera with outstanding features and controls,Very Sharp Pictures and amazing clarity and performance in Low Light as well. I did some shots during NYE at Darling harbour and Opera house firework and was amazed with the results considering this camera has 45 Auto Focus Points, Wifi connection is supper easy, Touch Screen is supper smooth, at 24MPS and 7 Frames per second you can not go wrong with camera - very good build quality and canon lenses variety to choose from is amazing. It was worth waiting for this Camera - loving it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Camera Bought this camera 2 weeks ago and absolutely loving it! I usually just use my iphone to take pics and sometimes my very old Canon SLR from about 5 years ago. But now I am completely converted to only ever using this camera! I'm finding it great for food photography and when I'm being outdoorsy. Easy to use once you get the hang of it, great picture quality, and really good in low light conditions. No regrets in buying this camera. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super impressive After spending a huge amount of time researching different types of DSLR cameras, the winner was the EOS 80D. I don't have any regrets, and am really impressed with the overall feel, function, and ease of use of the 80D. There are so many features in the camera itself. including WiFi and Bluetooth, and smart phone syncing. Picture quality and clarity are amazing. Even all the different inbuilt filters work a treat. I've only just starting using the camera, coming from a very old DSLR, and am impressed. I have paired my purchase with the Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens, but aside from that, it is a great camera. A little heavier than I'm used to, but you don't really notice it after a while. This is a great top of the mid range camera. If you are looking at the 760D, or 77D, I'd would go the extra $$ and get the 80D

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Camera, But a bit pricy Hi there, I am an intermediate Photographer and have viewed a lot of cameras, The Canon 80D is a step up from the previous 70D, and i think you should definitely get this camera, with its 24.2 Megapixel Sensor, Full HD Video, Fully Articulated Touchscreen, 100% Viewfinder accuracy, and the 44 Sensor points (36 more points than its predecessor), it is a great camera for beginners, intermediate, and semi-pro photographers. The Speed of the auto focus, is phenomenal, and the ability to move the screen, and use it as a touchscreen is a feature that should be put into more cameras - especially in this day and age. It is a bit annoying that there is no 4K video, but at least there is the 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second, allowing you to slow down your videos. Another great feature is the time-lapse mode, the ability to create a time lapse up to 30 minutes long, is amazing, and you don't have to worry about your camera breaking easily, because of its weatherproofing and all round sturdiness. Over all, this is a great camera, and i definitely recommend this Canon 80D.
