Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun, even for serious pianists! I bought this a year ago, stuck in its 6 AA batteries, and have loved it ever since! Robust and fun, I got used to the compact size quickly, and happily flick between this and a real piano. Its portability, drum beats, and tones make it a hoot to whip out and play for people. Love how long the batteries have lasted, it takes plenty of knocks and drops, can fit in a deep backpack, and turns off if left unattended. Brilliant. I took it to hospital and played it flat on my back for a few days. Take it on holidays. A good proper musical instrument - fun size!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy! I bought this for my five year old. Perfect size. Great price. Great fun (even for the adults). Great battery life. Portable. And so far the two year old has not managed to destroy it. Great quality for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little keyboard - not just for kids. :) I have had this little keyboard for a week and really love it. It has some great sounds, and the key action feels good. It's nice and portable, something you can play when you're out and about. I especially like Tone 68 - which sounds like an 8-bit NES. I've had a lot of fun to play little video game tunes with that. (E.g. the Final Fantasy victory tune, the Mario game over tune, etc) I have also had a lot of fun improvising on top of the the "free session" patterns (40-49). These are little chord progressions in various musical styles. It's fun to muck around and improvise little melodies on top of those. This has tiny keys, so it's certainly not a replacement for a full size keyboard or digital piano. However, I think this keyboard is MORE than just a toy. It is built well, has some great sounds and feels nice to play. I wholeheartedly recommend this. I have had so much fun this past week messing around with this on the sofa. :) I've started thinking about adding some sort of strap to turn it into a makeshift keytar...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good to learn on I bought this a month ago and have been enjoying learning to play on it. The keys are a bit small for an adult but you get used to it and I've had no trouble alternating between this and a full sized piano. It's very portable and the original batteries are still going strong..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good starter keyboard, not great as a gift ... Because it doesn't come with a power supply, and it's not obvious when buying. I bought it for my niece, with the hope it could work straight out of the box, but it doesn't have a power supply, which explains why it's cheaper. Annoyingly, JB doesn't sell the power supply it needs, and using batteries for everything isn't great environmentally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great portable keyboard Bought this recently, as I wasn't able to find its relative, the SA-46. The SA-76 is a little bit bigger, and I would definitely recommend it. The keyboard is small and lightweight, but not too small to make it unusable. Its a good compliment to a full size keyboard but not a substitute.
