Can I use a different brand of ink in my Canon printer?

Are all Canon Pixma inks the same?

Canon Pixma inks are just the same as any other. You need to make sure you use the right ink with the right printer. Just because your new printer and old one might be similar, that doesn’t mean the same ink will give you the best results. However, some Pixma inks can be used in multiple Pixma printers.
