Rated 1 out of 5 by from GOT A REFUND Purchased the top of the line 15 inch xps from Dell. Was forced to get a refund as it was laggy and full of bugs (keyboard was especially shallow and poor in my opinion. Speakers are also awful). Whilst the internal should boast amazing performance... you simply could not get anything out of the device as it strangely stuttered and lagged on the most basic tasks. Spoke to Dell support for 3 days as they walked me through multiple ways (drivers update etc.) to resolve my problems (to no resolve). Was forced to refund as I simply couldn't handle it anymore. This was my experience

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty and Dell has terrible customer support Purchased a Dell XPS 15 about a month ago and have had nothing but issues with the system, it simply will not turn on and boot. Now I understand that nothing is perfect and that these things do happen, and I could probably look past this if I could just get it sorted out and fixed by Dell. The only thing is that Dell have the worst customer support I have ever experienced. I've made multiple phone calls to sort out a solution or replacement unit with them over the course of 4 weeks, and each time I've been given the run around. I chose this system over a Macbook, but for what it's worth I should have just stuck with Apple, at least they take a bit more pride in how they treat their customers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buggy and Loud! Seems like Dell have done a number of their own reviews here (referring to the reviewvsaying great customer service). I had a lot of little problems and the computer seemed very slow/laggy. I had a terrible experience with Dell customer service. After 5 weeks of trying to get something fixed I decided to return the computer as it was going no where. They are completely disorganised. Don't buy Dell.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from i wouldn't recomended i bought this laptop around this time last year, the older version to be exact and it driving me crazy with small problem the touch pad got push up about half of a centimeter when it got hot and went back to normal when it is cool. but recently, it got pushed up higher than usual and stayed there since battery life is pathetic, it last so short despise having 8 cells of battery, this could be because of the 4k screen but i wouldn't mind this much. i can't plug in headphone when this laptop is on. when i plug it in, there isn't any sound coming out of my head phone and i am sure my head phone isn't broken, then when i unplug it after that, there isn't any sound coming out of the laptop either. the only way to get head phone working on this laptop is to plug it in then restart the laptop or put it in sleep and turn on again. i tried to reinstall the sound card driver many time but it doesn't work. i can't get this fix yet although it still have warranty because i am busy on my school work sorry for bad English. i didn't eat any breakfast for a year just to save money for this and it turn out to be disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Had to refund 2 times and plan to do so again This laptop is marketed as the best 15 inch laptop on the marker and albeit it is with a 100 percent adobe rgb that i use a lot in my professional media pusuits and the norm high power 7700 processor!! BUT, I have had to replace the laptop 2 times from Jbhifi; 1st time was because the touchscreen wasn't responding and the second time was because my screen would randomly glitch in various colours. Guess what? I'm on my third laptop and it has started randomly turning black for seconds and it does this randomly not allowing me to continue the task at hand. I am so over it and am going in for a full cash refund. So ludicrous how this continues when staff says its the best laptop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Full of minor bugs Purchased the top XPS model 2 months ago. I have experienced constant minor bugs. Also the computer has become very noisy. Fan rattling or something as well as loud coil whine. There was also a loose screw rolling around inside. Dell has been unable to fix the issues after in excess of 10 attempts and 7 weeks of trying. They seem to try the same solutions over and over again. Same driver has been updated 6 times. Touch pad has been changed 4 times. They force the customer to spend a lot of time helping them fix the problems. (so far I have spent more than 40 hours on the issues). I have told Dell that I need a fully functional computer for a business trip within 4 days. They told me to go and purchase another one and then they would refund the purchase price once they receive the old computer I think the XPS is probably an ok computer (I just got a dodgy one) but the Dell support is terrible. They even make you pay for the support and then get you to do most of the work! I would strongly recommend another brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor support for a poor quality computer I experienced a large number of faults with my top XPS 15 model. Technical support from Dell was extremely poor. Over a 3 month period and in excess of 80 hours of work for trying to get these issues sorted, I had to return the computer as Dell could not fix it. Hardly surprising they couldn't fix it as they were constantly repeating the same solutions over and over again. A complete waste of time. I would never buy any Dell product again, as they simply do not offer any support of their products.
