Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for everyone I brought this laptop about 10 months ago and use it for university. The best parts about the xps is the amazing build quality which is just as good as a MacBook aswell as the 4K display with anti glare. Battery life usually last six about 7 hours so it’s perfect for school use or office work. The only part of this laptop I dislike is the camera placement because it looks up your nose. However if you don’t care about the camera position you should have no issues with this’s laptop. Hope this was helpful :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tyron's Review I Bought this product at the start of 2017 and I must say that the buld quality is really good with an Aluminum shell and soft touch carbon fibre for the keyboard area, regarding the quality I'd say it's on par with the Macbooks or maybe even better. For those occasional gamers out there the GTX 1050 barely handles the 4k monitor I'd say on average I would have gotten around 30 frames a second, but if your looking to use this as a productivity device the 4k monitor won't be an issue. The 4K infinite display is wonderful for all types of productivity, with it handling video rendering and editing quite well with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, it's even touchscreen which I love. A great part of this laptop is the finger print sensor to unlock the device, it recognises my finger quite fast and saves me so much time unlocking the device. The laptop also comes with backlit keyboard with white lights so you can use the XPS 15 in the dark, the keys are very easy to press which I prefer, if you come from a mechanical keyboard you may not like it as several friends have said so. The soft touch carbon fibre may be an issue for some of you as it is susceptible to oily things (if you go in store to look at the product you may find this). Another thing that many people have pointed out is that they don't like the camera placement, which is at the bottom of the monitor, I'm personally fine with it as I never use it. The Battery life on this product depends on what you're doing if you're doing intense gaming you should expect it to drain in less than an hour, but for productivity at half brightness on average it lasts 5-7 hours which is decent. The 4K Monitor drains quite of bit of battery so if you want longer battery life Dell also offers this with a 1080p HD monitor. Just to add many tech reviewers recommend this product and use it as their daily driver. Overall with the pros and cons combine I'd say it is quite good despite the price. (Sorry this is so lengthy, just trying to give an indepth review)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase! This has to be the worst laptop I have ever used... EVER. I am not exaggerating when I say that since the day I purchased it, it has been having all sorts of issues ranging from overheating when idle, sound issues that cause crackling in speakers as if its been blown and now the laptop doesn't power on at all! Dell's "Next business day" support is a great idea - thats if they can fix the machine of course. So SO disappointed with how this turned out, I've always liked Dell but after reading reviews of this PC online now, I know I should have never bought this model...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive for a laptop that always needs repairing Bought the laptop in September/October and have been on the phone to support and gotten repairs on it multiple times. Crackling speakers, performance issues etc. The speakers issue turned out to be a software problem and was fixed with an update but only after they replaced the speakers (the software fix hadn't been released at that point). Keypad area picks up all your greasy finger prints and makes it impossible to clean off. Webcam also in awful place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Laptop I bought this laptop several weeks ago and it has been amazing so far! The build quality is amazing but the screen is the real show stopper here! By far the best i have ever used. The only thing that was a little frustrating was the noise of the fans when it is being cranked but they're doing what they were designed to do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I am disappointed with this machine. The location of the webcam make for some very bad Skype sessions with clunky fingers in the shot. I also find the machine glitchy and it often freezes for long periods. I also have issues with the display often not showing correctly with tiny font and missing sections.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So much potential, so frustrating This is a laptop I really wanted to like, and there's a lot going for it - the 4k touch screen, lightening quick speeds, size etc. However, the firmware is littered with bugs, hardware like the screen/speakers/bluetooth have failed, and there are software bugs like the laptop turning on and overheating when packed away in my bag (i.e. lid closed and turned off). Dell produce a lot of good products. This is sadly not one of them.
