Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great picture front and rear camera I brought this model just about a year ago and I have had nothing but hassles with it. It turns it self off randomly, goes into park mode when I start up my car. It shows me its recording buts it's not. The USB splitter is a stupid idea and that falls out of the USB connection to the camera sometimes, plus it freezes while the car is in motion and the the screen either turns red or purple and the camera has to be reset. They are only some of the issues I have experienced with this product. One last thing also I have swapped the main camera over five times since buying it because of all the problems with it. Not worth your money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would never recommend Such a waste of time and money. It turns itself off every now and again without being on a "sleep" setting plus it rarely picks up the rear camera.... It won't charge unless the cord is in a certain position and if it isn't plugged in (even if it is fully charged) it turns off. It is very sensitive with the G-sensor and even the slightest movement of the car such as a small pot hole or shutting a door will set it back on and then after less than 30 seconds it will switch itself back off. The rear camera doesn't position well in the back window. Every small bump in the road moves the camera and it points towards the sky. Very poor set up and although the image is of minor quality, the product is not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible! Bought 2, both failed Don't buy this!! I bought 2 KPT-722's, one for my car and one for my wife's car. I have returned both due to them randomly not powering on. I had disabled the screensaver as I like to view the footage that is meant to be recorded and I found that occasionally, neither of them would power on. When this happens, it appears as though the device is still stuck in park mode because every time I go over a bump the camera turns on and then back off again after a short time. The idea of these things are great, but the quality is horrible. Another thing to note is that the cable is a little short for a 4x4, it only just makes it to the back of the car if run under the headliner and no chance of coming close if run down the pillar and along the floor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's dead ... again Received it as a Christmas present but two months after installation the rear camera stopped working. Exchanded it for a new camera which did work ... sometimes. A year later the rear camera no longer works and now the main camera does not work. Appears to be something to do with the connection in the windscreen mount. Also, I noticed when the camera was "working" it stopped when it had been sitting in the sun and got hot. I would certainly not recommend this camera to anyone, it's way too tempermental, is bad build quality and just generally not reliable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I bought this some time ago and I have had nothing but trouble with the unit. Turns on ok, but then it doesn't record (8 out of 10 times). 3/4 of the time it doesn't pick up the rear camera. I have to reset the Cam by holding the power off button to shutdown and then sometimes.... sometimes comes back ok and works. I went to the company (Kapture)about the issue and all they could say was that it my cars power supply that is at fault and not the camera.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design I am on my 2nd replacement unit as the first one kept powering off and on, Now the 2nd unit mount has filed and it keeps dropping off the windscreen. which has now broken as the glue that holds the suction cup on has failed. The bulky USB 2In1 plug is an after through and a bad design lose connecting etc.. it powers off as I am driving and I have to disconnect and reconnect the plug from the cig lighter socket to get it back on .needless to say ill be returning it again to JB

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2nd camera is an afterthought Main camera is good, easy to use and works well. Unfortunatly the second camera is a bit of an afterthought requiring a usb splitter to connect it. The splitter is bulky and makes the cords all hang out a long way making it all a bit wobbily and very untidy looking. It woild be far better if there was only one cord from the camera for power and the second camera. I dont use the second camera because there is too many cords hanging down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money I went through 2 of these products. The first one always turned off when it wanted and when you turn the car on it would turn off. It would record 8 seconds at a time and not full video. The 2nd one lasted about 5 minutes. I plugged it in and the unit would freeze and not respond. Save your time, get something else.
