Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yes and No Pluses: - excellent fm/am reception - much better than pioneer from my experience - great sound quality - aux, and full iOS music control via USB all good Minus: - Bluetooth stinks - it depends on its daily feelings as to whether it wants to connect to your smartphone (I’ve tried multiple phones too). Is there anyone manufacturer right now who can make a reliable Bluetooth unit? This is my third unit from JB’s and both Sony and pioneer decks are unreliable on the Bluetooth front. How hard is it? Seriously. I have a cheap-o home Bluetooth amp that never misses a beat, and Sony and pioneer can’t get the most important feature of a car stereo right. For the record I’d never had issues with Bluetooth with factory installed car stereos, just after market ones Other: - no issues with display brightness from me - just change the the colour to white and you’ll see it all the time. If you leave it on the default of constantly changing colour when it gets to dark blue-ish it’s hard to see the display
