JB Hi-Fi Computer Set Up Assist is Essential help to get your new computer set up and running at its optimal performance. Purchased the PLUS? Get phone support on your setup as well as an additional 2 installs to compliment your setup (e.q printer/phone)

I don’t have an active internet connection; can I still use this service?

Unfortunately, no. As this service is all done online an active internet connection is required so the experts can access your computer over a secure WIFI connection and complete the service

Will an expert come to my house to set up this service?

No, the great thing about Set Up Assist is you simply call the specified number and the experts will help you turn the computer on and then run through the set up for you remotely. All this is done through the secure WIFI connection in your home

When can I call the JB Set Up Assist number?

Experts are available 9am-9pm Everyday (except Good Friday and Christmas day)

I bought 2 computers on the same day, can I have them both set up?

No, each redemption code is unique and can only be used on one setup, if 2 computers are purchased 2 set up services will also need to be purchased

I didn’t buy the software from JB, but I purchased the computer. Can I still use this service?

Yes! If the software is legitimate and the codes are available to be used the experts can install it for you.

I didn’t buy the computer or the software from JB, Can I still use this service?

Yes! Provided the computer has not had extended use and the software is available to be installed this service can be used

I want to transfer all the data from the old computer to my new one, will the experts do this?

No, unfortunately full computer to computer transfers cannot be done, this service is not within the scope of works the experts can do.

I have purchased Set Up Assist how long do I have to use it?

Once purchased, you have 30 days to redeem the service

It’s been more than 30 days since I purchased the service and I still haven’t redeemed. What do I do?

Please call 1300 330 361 and one of the experts will advise.

I’ve lost my redemption code what do I do?

As redemption codes are unique and one time use only you must return to the store of purchase, ask for the manager and provide your original receipt.

I have a problem with my set up and I would like to talk someone

In the unlikely event, there is an issue after the service is completed, the First point of contact will be 1300 330 361, If you would like to discuss the remedy further please return to the store of purchase and ask for the manager on duty.
