Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential 4K title. Easily one of the better 4K transfers I've seen, the other user on here has no idea what he's talking about; this was shot on film, therefore it's potential resolution is actually higher than 4K. There is grain but that's true of every movie shot on film, and if the grain were to be scrubbed away, the immaculate details that this 4K transfer provides would also be scrubbed away, leaving the film looking waxy and out of focus. This blows every digitally shot movie, even those shot and finished in 4K, out of the water. Also, it's just a fantastic movie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4k not always an improvement. Still a great movie but 4k upgrade was not as good as hoped. Has to be shot at 4k to be worthwhile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Movie....but not sure if 4K way to go I have always loved Ghostbusters from the moment I first saw it as a 15 year old. Recently have upgraded TV and player to 4K and have enjoyed the quality of other movies in the upscaled format. Just could not see a huge improvement on quality for Ghostbusters as apposed to Bluray version.
