Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor writing, Characters ruined, Cringe Scenes Don't expect this to be like The Empire Strikes cause its the 2nd movie of the sequel trilogy, even the prequels were miles better. But hey, if you'd like to see your loved characters do nothing but drink milk from an alien, sleep in a coma for most of the movie, or run off for an irrelevant side story, then you'll love it. The whole story was so poorly written and there are many forced humour and cringe worthy scenes that makes you shake your head in disappointment. And don't get me started on the code breaker story arc. All i can say that is good, are the effects and cinematography. Even Mark Hamill himself hated on this movie.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Star Wars movie yet :( CGI and cinematography is great, but the story was extremely poorly written. The character development was very weak and unconvincing. The actors and actresses were excellent but the chemistry between each was in my opinion worse than the original trilogy but much better than the prequels. This should have been a standalone movie and separate from any particular trilogy or saga. Did not have the feel of a Star Wars movie. Sad. Wasted the character of Luke. I'm not mad because of his death but rather the poor story arc leading to this event. It should have been developed more and happened in the episode 9.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Star Wars movie to date. I fundamentally disagree with the entire plot. Questions which people wanted answered are anticlimactically ruined. Luke's character is destroyed. The pacing is inconsistent and editing is a mess; scenes which should be emotional are too short and glossed over, and boring bits are focused on for too long. There are several subplots occurring at once, some of them are simply unnecessary, and the film's attention jumping between them is a mess. The jokes are bad - It starts off with a "your mother" joke.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will not be THE LAST JEDI There are so many positive things to say about this film! I loved it. The story, as much as it was unexpected, made sense so to those angry viewers out there, watch it again and then think about it. The storyline is really good even though most of it is disappointing. I can't wait to see what happens in Episode IX but we now have the deleted scenes for this to look forward to and then Solo: A Star Wars Story! The deleted scenes might finally answer some other questions but they probably won't. Overall, I recommend buying this film. You won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Good! I really can’t say too much about STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI so I’m just going to free associate… Action, so much action! A barrage of delightful blasts of humour! The story makes the jump to hyperspace and does not stop! Refreshingly breaks new ground but stays within the right familiarities of Star Wars folklore. Mark Hamill brilliantly reprises Luke Skywalker... The man… The legend! The complexity of Rey and Kylo thickens. Rian Johnson, the writer and director... I don’t know where he came from but he’s exhibited genius in helming this instalment of the saga. Dare I say, The Last Jedi far surpasses Force Awakens. If you are disappointed with this movie, then there is no pleasing you!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible movie. Terrible story. Ruined legacy characters, ruined what the OT accomplished, tone was off, editing sucked, subverting didn't work. Story was boring.
