Description

Having conquered the cutthroat world of satirical online cooking shows with Australia’s all-time most viewed digital series The Katering Show, Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney are back and ready to take a Sassy Swipe™ at morning lifestyle television.

Each morning the Kates shuffle through a bevy of unsafe demonstrations, surly guests, underprepared experts and the over-lit decomposition of the duo’s already rocky relationship in this outrageous comedy series that leaves no cultural touchstone unturned.

Featuring a bunch of hilarious special guests, including Sam Neil, Adam Briggs, Rove McManus, Molly Daniels, Deborah Mailman, Robyn Butler, Miranda Tapsell, Celia Pacquola and more, Get Krack!n proves you don’t need to know much about the events of the day – or anything really – to host a dynamite morning television show!

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great send-up of breakfast TV Having viewed some episodes I had to buy the whole series to see the others. The show is a great send-up of breakfast television, complete with inane banter, bizarre guests (when they turn up) and various segments going off the rails, with chaos reigning. What would seem to be a one joke premise is expanded upon wonderfully, as the hosts private lives intrude upon their onscreen time. P. S. Don't forget to read the ticker at the bottom of the screen of 'breaking news'.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ashamed to be Australian Looking forward to watching this having never seen it on TV. Painfully watched one episode and part of the next, now its gone to the rubbish tip. If this is Australian humour, then it's worse than comedy from the US.
