In the final season of the critically acclaimed, award-winning drama, resilient nurse Sarah Nordmann (Marta Dusseldorp) finally marries wealthy landowner George Bligh (Brett Climo). But as Sarah takes her place as lady of Ash Park, George's mother, Elizabeth (Noni Hazelhurst), feels pushed out of the household that she ran for decades. George's son, James (David Berry), returns from abroad to start a business in Sydney, while his daughter, Anna (Abby Earl), lives in Hawaii with her sister-in-law, hiding a secret from the rest of the family. As the Blighs journey back to each other, they face tragedies, betrayals, and new beginnings that will challenge their relationships and change the courses of their lives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Fitting End At last I got my grubby hands on the sixth and final season of what has been one of my favourite shows. It was with eager anticipation I approached this and wasn't disappointed. All the twists and turns we've come to expect, excellent production values and acting all tied up neatly by writer Bevan Lee. I was happy, I was sad. It was an emotional rollercoaster at times and quite provocative taking familiar characters into uncharted territory. If like me you have loved this, you will delighted with this series. If you haven't yet discovered it, Give yourself a treat and start from the beginning. It's highly addictive and will remain one of my favourites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The concluding episodes to a great drama We have followed A Place to call home right from it's conception but unfortunately because of not having Foxtel could not continue after season two. Thanks to Jb Hi Fi and the pre order program we have been kept right in the mix This is an Australian Drama set in the fifties and it is riveting watching. We cannot speak highly enough of this production and having top line Aussie actors makes it extremely good. Buy it and sit back and enjoy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective There are three disks in the set. The second disk is unreadable. The casing for the disks has a raised imperfection which caused multiple scratches on the disk. I suspect other scratches on the disk were caused when the disk was rotated and/or moved into position when being assembled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellet end to the whole Series It took me a while to get back into the "world" and seemed excessively soapy at first but, overall, it is a very good conclusion to the whole series and the final episode is excellent in bringing the viewer up to date about the future lives of the characters. Very satisfying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Australian Drama The reason I purchased Season 6 is because I do not have Foxtel and I am unable to access this wonderful show any other way. I have previously purchased seasons 3, 4, 5 as well. Great Aussie Drama.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cast I recently bought episode 6 of a place to call home. It is the best show. It’s a shame it’s the last of the series but ending was very well done

Rated 5 out of 5 by from End of an era The end of the series ties up the lose ends very neatly and extends the story line further. Well written and great acting. Worth waiting for.
