The dazzling Thirteenth Doctor falls out of the sky just in time to thwart an alien huntsman who is stalking human prey. With little time to spare and the population of Sheffield (and Earth!) at risk, the Doctor recruits three new friends – gentle Ryan, no-nonsense Yasmin and Ryan’s step-grandfather Graham – who soon feel more like family than companions. Join the foursome in ten fresh enormously thrilling roller-coaster adventures across time and the universe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first season I was intrigued to see what would be different when Jodie Whittaker was cast as the Doctor. As a long-time fan of the series (currently rewatching Troughton), I’ve found that I need a period of time to adjust to each new Doctor. I’ve then loved all of them! This series has great stories, the dynamic between those travelling in the TARDIS is enjoyable and don’t get me started on King James! I’ve very much enjoyed watching the adventures of this Doctor and look forward to more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from brings back the fun This season isn't perfect, and not all the acting is top notch, but it's really fun and brings back a lot of the "family show" vibe that made series 1-4 so appealing. Chibnall has been a big fan of the show since the classic days, and the new formatting shows that. Jodie is so likeable too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst season of New Who What a wasted opportunity. This is what happens when you bring in a non fan to produce the show. Moffat and predecessors had a long history with the show, or were huge fans before taking over. This is up there with the worst of the eighties. The kids might not notice the constant political moralising but for adults, it's insulting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boring Don't waste your money on this rubbish. It barely resembles Doctor Who. If you really want to watch it then wait till it gets thrown into the discount bin where it belongs. Shouldn't take long.
