It is difficult to imagine Client Liaison coming from anywhere other than Australia. Its spirit of excess, absurdity, and self-invention could only be native to a country that perhaps hasn't always been sure of what it is. A colony, an island, a sunburnt country, a land of opportunity, the great brown land, the end of the earth, the lucky country, the home of the cultural cringe.

Harvey Miller AO and Monte Morgan first started performing and writing music together as Client Liaison in 2009. Harvey is mostly behind the keyboard, occasionally coming forward for a high-five or a particularly vehement fist pump; Monte is out the front spinning, bouncing, dancing, and singing in a voice that climbs higher and higher, before he disappears momentarily offstage for a costume change.

This debut album 'Diplomatic Immunity' has been a long time coming. The music is a velvety euphoric confection of house, pop, love balladry, disco, and techno. The album's lyrics revel characteristically in the jargon of politics and the peculiar vocabulary of national identity. Feelings this acute don't really exist in real life. Which is what makes them so true. It is in fantasies like those of Client Liaison that we become who we really are.

Put it on the company card. Too much is never enough. Think nothing. Feel everything. Pleasure is good. Fantasy is truth. Experience Client Liaison

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faith In Australian Pop Music Restored I haven't been ecstatically impressed with the modern music scene for the past couple of years, with only a few acts really standing out from the rest of the pack. Client Liaison has managed to restore my faith back in the music scene with a mixture of 90's electric pop and both political and business oriented lyrics that make this duo a cut above the rest. Even if your not a fan of electric dance pop. I highly recommend you give this album a spin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2016 now saved by this album! I agree 100% with 'MusicManiacs' review on this page of this album. If I would award Arias, Client Liaison would walk away with many. This is the kind of music that Australia should be celebrating. Fresh, fun, atmospheric and a little bit of comedy. The duet 'A Foreign Affair' with Tina Arena is amazing and should be a single. Name checking Sorrento in 2016 is a dream come true!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a great album Love this album. It's a fresh, different sound by two guys who don't seem to be afraid of doing what they want. 'Foreign Affair' is an absolute stand out, as is 'World of Our Love'. Love the throwback references to the 90s as well as the way they use Australiana so well in some of the tracks. One of the best albums in years with a really unique but easy to listen to sound
