How do I claim on my warranty if I've lost my receipt?
If you gave us your mobile number so that we could send you a digital receipt when you paid at the counter, check your text messages from us. It may be that the link to your digital copy is still sitting there in your messages waiting for you. If so, that's great.
Alternatively, you may have linked it to your jbhifi.com.au account. If you linked it to your account, just login and then navigate to My Account > My Purchase History. If you linked it successfully it will appear in the list as an in-store receipt. You can view the details, download or print a PDF of your receipt. Your digital receipt can be used as proof of purchase for a warranty claim. All your online purchases will be listed here too.
For paper receipts the process is more time consuming, but the more information you have about the receipt, the easier it will be for us to find. We also need to make sure we're not giving anyone's receipt details out to the wrong people.
To find your receipt we'll ideally need the receipt or order number and additionally some details about what you bought and when, including the receipt amount and the store of purchase.
Sometimes it's easy to find these details on your bank or credit card statement (please DO NOT send us any credit card or bank information) .
