All data expires at the end of the month and is not shareable. Data is for personal use in a smartphone only. Telstra FairPlay policy applies. Data is for use in Australia. Extra Data if you use more than your Monthly Data Allowance, Telstra will automatically add extra data to your service in blocks of 1GB for $10 (Extra Data). Extra Data is for use in Australia and expires at the end of your billing month and is not sharable with other services on your account.
Your Monthly Calls and Monthly Data can’t be used overseas. Your Monthly Calls do not include calls, SMS or MMS to international numbers, premium numbers (e.g. 19xx numbers) and some satellite numbers, 1234, 12 455 and 12 456 numbers or content charges. Charges for all calls, SMS and MMS not included in your Plan can be found at telstra.com/customer-terms.
Your Plan does not include an International Call and SMS allowance. The following charges apply:
calls to international numbers – for call rates to overseas, see telstra.com.au/mobile-other-call-types
MMS to international numbers – 75¢ per standard message sent per recipient.
The following customers are eligible to purchase the JB Hi-Fi BYO plan receive the $100 welcome credit; - New Telstra customers - New or Existing Telstra customers transferring a number from another provider to Telstra - Boost mobile Pre-Paid customers - Belong mobile customers This offer is not available for existing Telstra customers upgrading their existing service.
Once you’ve completed your order, we’ll send you a SIM card in the mail within 3-7 business days. Once you receive the SIM card go to www.telstra.com/activate and follow the instructions to activate your SIM card. Once your service is activated the $100 welcome credit will be applied to your Telstra account within 2 billing cycles (up to 60 days).
The JB Hi-Fi BYO mobile plan is a 12 month commitment. If you decide to leave or cancel your service before 12 months you may have to pay Early Termination Charges. The Early Termination Charges may be dependent on when you decide to leave or cancel your service. Once your service is active, go to https://www.my.telstra.com.au/myaccount/contract-details to check if Early Termination Charges will apply should you decide to leave or cancel your service.
If you go over your included monthly data allowance, we’ll automatically add Extra Data to your service in blocks of 1GB for $10. Extra Data is for use in Australia and expires at the end of your billing month. Please note that Peace of Mind Data (where your data speed is slowed if you exceed your data allowance but you don’t pay excess data charges) is not available on JB Hi-Fi BYO Mobile Plans.
If you’re taking up a new service or transferring a mobile number from another carrier (except for Boost services, which already operate on the Telstra Mobile Network), we’ll send you a new SIM card in the mail. Once you receive your SIM card (usually within 3-7 days business days), go to www.telstra.com/activate and follow the instructions to activate your SIM card.
