The ultra-quiet blower system is designed to cool home theatres, entertainment centres, and audio video cabinets. The unit's low-profile design is ideal where mounting space is limited or a smaller footprint is desired. It features a speed controller and 1.8m power cord. Included fans use a custom motor engineered to minimise noise during speed variations and are CE and RoHS certified. Containing dual ball bearings rated at 67,000 hours, the unit can be mounted in any direction. It features a CNC-machined anodized aluminium frame with a modern brushed black finish. Blowers are set to exhaust air out of the enclosure. It includes all necessary hardware to easily mount the unit onto a cabinet and power it.

USB Powered
The Airplate S1 - S5 coolers are powered by the connected USB cable with in-line speed controller. Plug this cooler into a USB outlet on your AV device, computer, or wall adapter for instant and effective airflow.
Alternatively, the Airplate range of coolers can be powered by one of the larger AC Infinity components with a USB outlet, such as the Aircom T Series coolers, or some of the Cloudplate T Series fans.
Speed Controller & Boost Adapter
The in-line multi-speed controller with power switch allows setting the blowers speed to optimal noise and airflow levels for various environments. The included Boost Adapter not only allows the blower to be powered through a wall outlet, but increases its performance by up to 25%.
Connecting Aditional Units
For cabinets that require more airflow, each unit can be connected to additional AIRPLATE S and T series cabinet fans. Up to four fans can share the same USB power source, and up to six fans can share the same thermal controller or wall outlet power source. AIRPLATE S7 contains two fans and AIRPLATE S9 contains three fans. All setups with more than four daisy-chained fans must have their inline speed controller set to high to prevent overload, e.g. two AIRPLATE S9 units daisy-chained together.

Installation Guide - Cabinet Cooling
All ventilation fan systems should contain an intake and an exhaust variable, which can be fans or ventilation holes. In an ideal set up, there should be a fan located near the top of the cabinet configured to exhaust out air, and a fan located near the bottom to push in air. Electronics such as receivers and computers within a cabinet will cause air to heat up. Due to natural convection, warmer air which is less dense than colder air will rise on its own. An efficient fan system helps accelerate natural convection by rapidly exhausting warmer air out the top of the cabinet while pushing colder air in at the bottom.
Cabinet fan systems that contain only one fan should have it configured to exhaust hot air out the top of the cabinet. There must be ventilation holes located elsewhere on the cabinet, preferably towards the bottom to act as an air intake. Using fans to push air out will cause negative or lowered pressure within the cabinet. Because air moves naturally from high pressure to low pressure areas, outside air will flow into the cabinet from the ventilation holes. Poorly designed systems include set-ups where there are one or more fans to exhaust air, but no other fans or ventilation holes to act as the air intake.
