Bitkey Bitcoin Hardware Wallet Gen 2 (Black)

Description

Bitkey is a bitcoin hardware wallet for self-custody without a seed phrase. Bitkey combines a hardware device, mobile app, and 2-of-3 multisig architecture in one system. Bitkey uses three keys: one stored on your phone, one on your Bitkey device, and one on Bitkey’s server. Any two keys are required to move your bitcoin. No single key can move it on its own. If you lose your phone, your Bitkey device, or both, built-in recovery tools can help you regain access. Recovery options include encrypted backup, a Recovery Contact, and guided recovery flows. Confirm transactions and security settings on the built-in screen before approving them. With no seed phrase and built-in recovery, Bitkey gives you a way to hold and manage your bitcoin in self-custody.

Key Features

Bitcoin Hardware Wallet with On-Device Screen
Bitkey is a dedicated hardware wallet and app for holding your own bitcoin. Confirm transactions and security settings on the built-in screen before approving them.

Self-Custody, No Exchanges or Custodian Required
You hold two of the three keys in the Bitkey system – one on your phone and one on your Bitkey device. The third is stored on Bitkey’s server and cannot move your bitcoin on its own.

No Seed Phrase
Set up and use Bitkey without creating or storing a seed phrase.

2-Of-3 Multisig
Three keys are stored separately across your phone, Bitkey device, and Bitkey’s server. Any two keys are required to move your bitcoin.

Built-In Recovery
Encrypted backup and recovery tools can help you regain access if you lose your phone or Bitkey device. You can also designate a Recovery Contact.

Inheritance And Nfc in One APP
Designate another Bitkey owner to inherit your bitcoin. Use NFC to verify transactions, and buy, send, receive, and track bitcoin in the app. Compatible with iOS and Android.
