More daring and forceful than ever before, Anna returns with her best work to-date, 'Hunter;' a career-defining collection of 10 songs, reflective of an artist who has reached maturity and whose thirst for pushing the boundaries and exceeding expectations hasn't faltered a little.
Produced by Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Anna takes us through a journey exploring power within femininity, transcending sexual taboos and gender conformity amongst some of the most poignant themes in the record. In her own words:
"This album is about hunting for something - wanting more - wanting experiences, wanting agency, wanting sexual freedom, wanting intimacy, wanting to go beyond gender, wanting to feel strong, wanting to feel protected and wanting to find something beautiful in all the mess.
This is a queer record - it's about fighting against feeling an outsider and trying to find a place that feels like home. The intent of this record is to be primal and beautiful, feminine and masculine, vulnerable and strong, to be the hunter and the hunted."
