Ella Fitzgerald just breathed joy and happiness and throughout her brilliantly successful career, had a special appeal to children - owing in part to the way she wrapped her little girl voice around the more sophisticated jazz arrangements. With Frank DeVol's perfectly jazzy arrangements, Ella swings all of the great pop Yuletide classics, saving her best singing - and some of her best, in this, her mid-career form for the ballads. Here's the whole package. Ella. Christmas. Swinging Jazz. NOW with six bonus tracks added to the original 1960 album.
