Dylan Marlowe has exciting news to share earlier this week, announcing that his sophomore album, Dylan Marlowe, will be available Nov. 6.
With this album, Marlowe aimed to create a 13-track listening experience framed by captivating melodies and driving production, co-produced by Marlowe and Joe Fox. Growing up listening to everything from Sum 41 to Blink 182 to Eric Church, Marlowe’s wide range of influences shine on this project, establishing his own unique lane in the genre, defined by a blend of pop punk and country music.
“I’ve had a lot of growth over this past year and I’ve felt this freedom to really dig into all the creative inspirations that I have, with a lot of that being from the pop punk world where the melodies are just so infectious,” Marlowe shared. “There’s a lot of storytelling on this record too, which is a big part of my creative process, but I also wanted people to be able to just put this album on and experience it in more of a lighthearted way. It’s an album you put on when you take backroads home from church and want to enjoy the ride. I’m really excited for this one and hope y’all love it!”
