Punchy, infectious groove injected funky blues reflecting rich influences from all over the roots music world. This the seventh album from one of Australia's most renown original diverse genre exponents spanning over two decades of performing nationally and internationally with airplay worldwide this album promises to be their finest work yet.

Recorded by Shane DiIorio at In The Blues Music with the drums recorded by Robin Mai (John Butler Trio/Melbourne Ska Orchestra) the album is complimented by guest appearances by legendary Australian guitarists Mick Elliott(Sid Rumpo/Western Flyer) Mike Rudd (Spectrum/Ariel) Paul Gildea (Icehouse/James Reyne) Kerri Simpson and Glyn Mason(Chain/Ariel) adding vocals, Nicky Bomba (John Butler Trio/MSO) Drums along with steamy brass section lead by Aaron Searle(Pearly Shells/Grand Whazoo) Hey Gringo dynamically tasteful guitarist Brian Strafford and led by multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter Daryl Roberts(Spectrum/Blackfeather/Jimmy Witherspoon) on keyboards, harmonica, mandolin, accordion and percussion.

Already known for previous albums being an "Upbeat set of smokin' R&B and Blues and seriously funky groove" (Al Hensley-Rhythms Magazine), "Not The Same Planet" takes it to another universe with more dynamic guitar, tongue in cheek thought provoking songs with a quirky fresh edge. From the opening funk drenched " Don't You Say", pumping title track "Not The Same Planet" both with rich horn lines to the Mad Dogs & Englishmen climax of "Feel So Good" There's plenty of blues with the sleazy shuffle of "No Difference To Me" and steamy "Tango With The Devil" & Allman Brotherish"One of These Days" to the New Orleans vibe on "Walk On Water" There is definitely something for everybody here and more.
