Led by the guitar playing and singing of Kim Simmonds, Savoy Brown, albeit in several configurations over the years, has never really stopped playing music and doing live shows in an astounding nearly 50-year run.

This recent live set, released as both a CD and DVD as part of by Ruf Records' Songs from the Road series, features songs from every phase of the band's career and shows that they continue to be a solid blues-based hard rock boogie outfit delivering the goods even after all of these years.
