NNine Suns, One Morning

The Silence return from the deep space of Hark The Silence with 'Nine Suns, One Morning,' a new earthly direction of full prog and skronk!
Sprawling guitars, stomping saxophones, vocals, strings, and Canterbury-esque turns flesh out a new song-based set of tunes. While their debut album skewed delicate traditional sounds and their second effort brought out their trippiest excursions (both on sale now!), 'Nine Suns, One Morning' unleashes the power of Masaki Batoh's musicial vision in a resplendently physical setting, with more focus on songs than before, winding together mini-epics such as "Look Up the Vault" with a style that recalls the touchstone Ghost album Hypnotic Underworld.
Responding to the nuclear disaster following Japan's 2011 earthquake, Batoh's music invokes the notion that the good energy of transcendental performance is a humanitarian act, and a way to process the madness in a world-helping way.
