Roadrunner’s fastest rising stars, Trivium, were infamously dubbed ‘the new Metallica’ by UK metal publications Kerrang and metal hammer when they first speared on the scene and have steadily built their reputation –and credibility – with Shogun tipped to be the moment they reveal their true strength.
For their first tour of Australia, they landed a much coveted spot on the Big Day Out, which was followed up by a blistering performance on The Black Crusade with label mates Machine Head last October and earlier this month, the band again proved their mettle when they played a capacity one-off show at Sydney's Enmore Theatre.
Shogun is poised to take Trivium beyond all previous achievements and set a new benchmark for them in Australia.
