Lætitia Tamko is professionally known as Vagabon. She is a solo artist, a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, a peer of Porches, Mitski and Makkonen, and according to Pitchfork, "an indie rock game-changer."
The New Yorker, originally from Cameroon, released Infinite Worlds earlier this year, the limited original pressing sold out almost immediately and the album has become one of the year's most critically acclaimed debuts.
Lætitia played all the parts on the album herself. The resulting collection of songs is a masterclass in soaring, emotive, DIY, lo-fi indie rock, and one that's deeply personal - both due to her all encompassing performance and the intimate nature of her lyricism.
