Vampire Weekend formed and cut their musical teeth at NYC's Columbia's University, taking their name from a film that frontman Ezra Koenig wrote and trailered. The band have been setting Gotham alight with a series of celebratory live performances over the summer, sharing bills with the likes of Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors and Ra Ra Riot as well as selling out headline shows at the legendary Bowery Ballroom and the Music Hall of Williamsburg.
