While rocker (turned author) Dave Warner sang about being “just a suburban boy”, John Williamson sang about being a Mallee Boy. This 1986 release, which achieved multi-platinum status, includes what could be described as Williamson’s own version of an Australian national anthem, True Blue – an incredibly famous song ’round these parts.
