These six baubles are translucent rather than solid, so light passes straight through the glass and lifts the gold shimmer stripes from the inside. Switch the tree lights on and they glow rather than simply shine. It is a small difference and it reads across the whole room.
Each measures 8cm, balanced enough to distribute through branches without dominating them.
Gold sits happily beside almost any colour, which makes this the sort of set you buy once and keep building on, adding a box or two each year without ever having to start again.
Six to a gift box, glass throughout. Ready to hang, or ready to give to whoever in the family has strong opinions about how a tree should look.
