Monitor outdoor areas with the Connect Smart Home 2K Outdoor Camera and included 3W Solar Panel. With QHD 2560 x 1440 video, colour night vision, PIR motion detection, human detection, two-way audio and dual-band Wi-Fi, it provides flexible wire-free monitoring through the Connect SmartHome app.
2K QHD video
Capture video at up to 2560 x 1440 resolution at 15fps, providing clear footage for live viewing and recorded events. The app also supports digital zoom up to 8x when you need a closer look.
Colour and infrared night vision
Choose between infrared night vision for black and white footage or colour night vision, which uses the camera's LED lights to capture colour images after dark. Night vision operates at distances of up to 10 metres.
PIR motion and human detection
The built-in PIR motion sensor provides detection up to 8 metres across a 100-degree field. Human body filtering can also be enabled to help identify motion caused by a person, while adjustable PIR sensitivity lets you tailor detection to the installation area.
Two-way audio and siren
Use two-way audio through the Connect SmartHome app to listen and communicate remotely. The camera also includes a siren that can be triggered when motion is detected.
Dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity
The camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, with Bluetooth used during setup. This gives you greater flexibility when connecting the camera to a compatible home wireless network.
Local microSD recording
Record detected events to a microSD card with support for capacities up to 256GB. A microSD card is sold separately, with Class 10 and U1 or higher recommended for recording.
4400mAh rechargeable battery
The camera is powered by a built-in 4400mAh rechargeable battery, allowing wire-free installation without a permanent mains power connection.
3W solar charging
The included 3W solar panel connects to the camera via USB-C and can help maintain the camera's battery charge when positioned in suitable sunlight. Charging performance depends on sunlight, panel positioning, weather conditions and installation location.
Built for outdoor use
Both the camera and solar panel carry an IP65 rating for resistance to dust and rain. The camera is designed to operate between -10°C and 45°C and should not be submerged in water.
Smart home integration
The camera works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant and can be managed through the Connect SmartHome app for live viewing, notifications, camera settings and recorded event access.
