Monitor two outdoor areas from your phone with the Connect SmartHome 2K Outdoor Security Camera Twin Pack. Place one camera at an entrance and the other overlooking a driveway or backyard, then manage both through the Connect SmartHome app. The rechargeable cameras capture video at 2560 x 1440 resolution and connect to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi.

Choose infrared night vision for black-and-white footage or colour mode, which turns on the camera's LED lights to illuminate the scene. The manual specifies a maximum night-vision range of 10 metres. Digital zoom controls in the app let you take a closer look at the live view.
Motion detection and app controls

The PIR sensor has a specified maximum range of 8 metres and a 100-degree detection angle. Position the camera so people move across its view rather than directly towards it, and avoid aiming it at swaying trees or passing traffic. Do not place glass between the sensor and the area being monitored.
Local recording and playback
A microSD card, sold separately, is required to save recorded events locally. The manual recommends a Class 10 card with UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) or higher. View recordings through the app's playback controls and select the date or timeline to find an event. Recording starts when motion is detected.
Power and compatibility
Each camera has a 4400mAh rechargeable battery and a USB-C charging port, with a charging requirement of 5V/1A. Fully charge the cameras before first use and check their battery status in the app. Google Home and Amazon Alexa compatibility is supported.
The Connect SmartHome app supports Android 6.0 or later and iOS 11.0 or later. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone during setup and keep the camera near the router for pairing. Before mounting, check that the chosen location has a strong Wi-Fi signal.
Outdoor installation
The cameras are IP65-rated to resist dust and rain, but they are not fully waterproof and must not be submerged. Mount each camera upright, keep unused ports firmly covered and secure the mounting hardware. The specified operating temperature is -10 to 45 degrees Celsius.
