Unlock with a tap of your compatible iPhone or Apple Watch using the Connect SmartHome Smart Deadbolt Lock with Apple Home Key. Fingerprint access, a PIN keypad, fob cards and a mechanical key provide alternative ways to enter.
Apple Home and app control
Add the lock to Apple Home using the HomeKit setup code. Enable Home Key to unlock by tapping your compatible device against the lock. Download the LNDU app to access the full smart lock settings.
Home Key requires an iPhone XS or later running iOS 15 or later, or an Apple Watch Series 4 or later running watchOS 8 or later. Apple Home automation and control away from home require a HomePod, HomePod mini or Apple TV configured as a home hub. Keep your devices updated to the latest supported software.
Check your door before installation
- Door thickness: 35-55mm
- Backset: 60mm or 70mm
- Cross-bore diameter: 38mm or 54mm
- Door-edge hole diameter: 25mm
Check these measurements against your door and follow the installation instructions. Install the lock completely before loading batteries, then check that the deadbolt moves freely using the manual thumbturn.
Battery power and backup access
The lock operates with four AA batteries, or eight AA batteries for extended battery life. Batteries are not included. Use batteries of the same age and condition, and replace them promptly when the low-battery warning sounds.
The emergency power port supplies temporary power only and does not charge the batteries. Mechanical key access provides an alternative way to unlock the door.
