Unlock your door with a palm scan, PIN, smart card, the Connect SmartHome app or a mechanical key. The Connect SmartHome Smart Deadbolt Lock with Palm Recognition gives you several ways to manage entry, with temporary PINs for visitors and app access for checking unlock records and battery level.
Contact-free palm access
Register your palm and hold it 5 to 15cm from the scanner to unlock. The lock stores up to 50 palm records, 50 PIN records and 50 NFC smart card records, allowing you to register different access credentials for your household.
The touch keypad accepts 6 to 8-digit PINs. Smart cards offer tap access, while mechanical keys provide a backup way to open the lock. NFC phone unlocking is also supported, but compatibility varies between smartphone models. Test your phone before relying on NFC as your main access method.
Manage access through the app
Use the Connect SmartHome app to lock and unlock the deadbolt remotely, add or remove users and link unlocking methods to individual members. View unlock logs and check the remaining battery level from your smartphone.
Create temporary PINs with a set validity period for visitors. The app also offers a five-minute PIN that allows multiple entries during that period. You can enable or disable app unlocking and choose who is permitted to use it.
Choose your locking settings
Enable automatic locking and set a delay from 5 to 900 seconds. Permanent unlock mode keeps the deadbolt unlocked until you lock it manually. Inside, use the thumb latch or lock/unlock button to operate the deadbolt.
Check your door before purchase
The lock suits compatible single-cylinder deadbolt installations with a door thickness of 35 to 55mm and a backset of 60 or 70mm. Check all door measurements against the installation template before fitting. Professional installation is recommended. This is a deadbolt access-control device; a separate door handle is recommended for opening and closing the door.
Install in a sheltered position away from direct rain, direct sunlight and excessive condensation. The exterior assembly has an IPX4 rating, but the manual requires protection from direct weather exposure.
Rechargeable power and emergency access
The 7800mAh lithium-ion battery charges through its own USB-C port using a 5V/2A supply. Fully charge it before first use and monitor its level in the app.
If the battery is depleted, the exterior USB-C port can temporarily power the lock from a 5V USB source. This emergency port does not recharge the battery. Keep your mechanical keys accessible as a backup.
For app setup, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network with a strong signal at the door. Register an administrator PIN and user credentials before relying on the lock: its initial factory state accepts unregistered credentials until setup is completed.
