Monitor two outdoor areas with the Connect SmartHome Solar Outdoor Wall Light Camera Twin Pack. Each unit combines a camera, wall light, rechargeable battery and built-in solar panel, giving you lighting and app-based monitoring at two locations around your home.
View and manage both cameras in the app
Use the Connect SmartHome app to watch live video, capture snapshots and record live footage. Manage both cameras from the same app and check each camera's battery level and charging status. Two-way talk lets you speak through the camera from your phone, while device sharing allows other users to access the camera.
Motion detection with adjustable settings
The passive infrared motion sensor detects movement at distances of up to 6.5m across a 100-degree detection angle. Adjust its sensitivity in the app and configure human motion detection. You can also set the light to flash or the siren to sound when human motion is detected. Enable app notifications to receive motion-event alerts.
Lighting and night-time viewing
Each camera has a 300-lumen light and infrared night vision with a maximum range of 8m. Choose infrared mode for black-and-white night footage or colour mode, which turns on the light to capture colour images.
Rechargeable power with solar charging
Each unit has a 6,600mAh rechargeable battery and an integrated solar panel. Fully charge the cameras through their USB-C charging ports before setup using a suitable 5V USB power source. Solar charging provides an additional way to charge the battery. Check battery levels in the app and recharge by USB when needed.
Save and review motion events
Each camera supports a microSD card up to 256GB for saving recorded events. Cards are sold separately. The manual recommends at least Class 10 and UHS Speed Class 1 (U1). Use playback in the app to select a date and review recordings. This camera records motion-triggered events; it should not be purchased on the expectation of continuous recording.
Setup and placement
Setup requires the Connect SmartHome app, a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and a smartphone with Bluetooth enabled for pairing. Pair and test each camera before mounting, and choose positions with a strong Wi-Fi signal.
Follow the mounting instructions and keep the camera's port covers firmly closed when not in use. Avoid placing the motion sensor behind glass or aiming it towards swaying trees or passing traffic, which can affect detection or create unwanted alerts.
