Open your door with a fingerprint, passcode, smart keycard, an app-approved unlock request or a mechanical key. The Connect SmartHome Wi-Fi Smart Deadbolt with Fingerprint Access gives you several entry options and lets you manage temporary access through the Connect SmartHome app.
Fingerprint and keypad entry
Register up to 30 fingerprints for access without entering a code. The lock supports up to 200 users through combinations of passcode, card and fingerprint credentials.
Use a smart keycard for tap access or enter your registered passcode on the keypad. Virtual passcode entry lets you add random digits before and after your correct code, helping conceal it from someone watching. Mechanical keys provide a backup access method.
Visitor access and app records
Connect to the Connect SmartHome app to view access history, battery level and triggered alarms. Generate temporary passcodes for visitors or create a dynamic passcode that must be used within five minutes.
A visitor can request remote unlocking by entering 888 followed by the confirmation button on the keypad. The paired app receives the request, which must be actioned within 90 seconds before it is cancelled.
Choose how the lock operates
Select manual locking or automatic locking after a set delay. Single user mode requires one registered access method. Double user mode requires two types of authentication, such as a passcode and fingerprint or a keycard and passcode.
The lock also provides a low-battery warning and an alarm after three invalid operations. Following these attempts, the keypad locks for one minute and mechanical-key access remains available.
Check door fit and Wi-Fi
The lock suits doors 35 to 55mm thick. Check the hole cutout guide and installation requirements against your door before purchase. For app pairing, connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network; 5GHz networks are not supported.
Change the factory administrator passcode during setup and register your own users before relying on the lock. Keep your backup keys in a secure, accessible location.
Battery power and emergency access
The lock requires four AA batteries. If they are depleted, connect an external power source to the Micro USB port beneath the front panel to temporarily power the lock, then unlock with a registered passcode or keycard. The port provides emergency power; it should not be treated as a battery-charging connection.
