The three piece has evolved into a four piece, and for this special event, there is another set of drums and a horn section. Joe's brand new producer, Kevin Shirley, the man behind Joe's last 3 CD's, brings his insight and creativity into the mix as well. With the new setup, Joe has soared to new and uncharted territory. That isn't more evident than in this DVD. The performance starts off with a short interview with Joe and then goes right into the concert. The playlist is mostly off The Ballad of John Henry and tunes Joe plays on tour. A couple songs into the set, Joe brings out Eric Clapton in a once-in-a-lifetime rendition of Further Down the Road. The concert runs for another 2 hours in high-quality 5.1 DTS and has an equal mix of Joe's powerful blues tunes and his guitar-shredding ones, and each one will one is turbo-charged with passion and precision. Comes in a special 2 disc digipak with a 28 page collectors book.
