Why this kit matters
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IIa was a further development of the famous British fighter that served with the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and formed an important part of RAF fighter operations during the early war years.
The Mk.IIa saw combat with RAF squadrons during 1941 and was flown by pilots from Britain and several Allied nations. Eduard's kit includes five marking options representing aircraft flown by pilots and units including No. 609 Squadron, No. 315 Polish Squadron, No. 452 Squadron RAAF, No. 312 Czechoslovak Squadron and No. 340 Free French Squadron.
How to use it
