Love Me Tender
Confederate soldiers led by Vance Reno (Richard Egan) rob a Union train of its payroll money. But because the Civil War officially ended the day before, their theft was not a legitimate act of war. Now an outlaw, Vance takes his share and heads home, where he intends to marry his fiancée, Cathy (Debra Paget). But upon arrival he discovers that she has already married his youngest brother, Clint (Elvis Presley). The troubled family tries to reconnect -- while also evading the law.

Wild in the Country
A young Southern man with a troubled family life, Glenn Tyler (Elvis Presley) is forced to go on probation after a big brawl with his brother. Working with lovely counselor Irene Sperry (Hope Lange), Glenn tries to get his life back on track and decides that he wants to be a writer. Problems arise when the nosy citizens of his tiny town think that Glenn is involved with Irene, even though he has been pursuing romance with girls his own age, including Betty Lee Parsons (Millie Perkins).

Follow That Dream
Pop Kwimpel (Arthur O'Connell), son Toby (Elvis Presley) and their ragtag clan of adopted orphans wind up marooned on the side of the road in Florida, so they set up a makeshift home on the beach. Soon, uptight local bureaucrat H. Arthur King (Alan Hewitt) orders them off the land, but the state government doesn't back him up. An enraged King then sets out to get his way, using manipulative social worker Alisha Claypoole (Joanna Moore) as part of his scheme to evict the Kwimpels.

Kid Gallahad
Fresh out of the military and flat broke, Walter Gulick (Elvis Presley) takes the only job he can find -- as a sparring partner at the local gym. Willy (Gig Young), the owner of the gym, sees potential in Walter as a professional fighter, and takes him under his wing. Willy hopes that Walter will earn enough money fighting in the ring to help him pay off his many gambling debts. Walter, on the other hand, hopes that he can earn the attention of Willy's little sister Rose (Joan Blackman).

Frankie and Johnny
Habitual gambler and musician Johnny (Elvis Presley) performs at a riverboat casino on the Mississippi River, along with his girlfriend, Frankie (Donna Douglas). A rash of bad luck leads Johnny to a fortuneteller, who informs him of a redheaded good luck charm. Enter Nellie Bly (Nancy Kovack), the lover of Johnny's boss, whose presence coincides with a change in Johnny's luck. But Frankie grows jealous of Johnny's new acquaintance, and the conflict comes to a head during a masquerade ball.

A wealthy young man, Scott Heyward (Elvis Presley) wants to experience life outside of his privileged upbringing. When he meets Tom Wilson (Will Hutchins), an earnest water-skiing instructor, Scott offers to trade places with him. As Tom warms up to the good life, Scott gets used to a less luxurious existence and falls for Dianne Carter (Shelley Fabares), who, ironically, is hoping to meet a rich man. Sticking to his humble guise, Scott tries to woo Dianne without the benefit of his true status.
