Faber-Castell Polychromos Lightfast Pencil Tin 102 offers a comprehensive, professional-quality colour palette designed for artists who demand exceptional permanence, control and colour performance. Featuring 102 richly pigmented coloured pencils, Faber-Castell Polychromos Lightfast Pencil Tin 102 delivers outstanding lightfastness and colour brilliance for fine art, illustration and detailed colour work.
Each Faber-Castell Polychromos Lightfast pencil is made using high-quality, acid-free pigments that provide vibrant colour with unsurpassed lightfastness. This ensures artworks created with Faber-Castell Polychromos Lightfast Pencil Tin 102 resist fading over time, making them suitable for long term display and archival applications. The smooth, soft colour laydown allows for effortless layering and blending, while maintaining crisp detail and clarity.
The thick 3.8 mm lead offers excellent coverage and colour intensity with minimal pressure. Thanks to Faber-Castell's secure bonding process, the leads have high break resistance, supporting confident sharpening and extended use. The oil-based formulation produces water-resistant and smudge-proof results once applied, giving artists greater control and cleaner finishes.
Faber-Castell Polychromos Lightfast Pencil Tin 102 provides a balanced range of colours, from strong, saturated hues to subtle tonal shades. The high-performing pigments allow artists to achieve depth and brilliance with fewer layers, streamlining the creative process while maintaining precision and consistency.
These pencils perform beautifully on a wide range of drawing papers and boards and can be used alongside graphite, ink and other dry media for refined mixed media techniques.
