The Hisense 100" Q7SAU 4K Hi-QLED TV is a good fit for a large lounge used for games, sport and film nights. It has a very large 100-inch 4K Hi-QLED screen, a native 144Hz panel and Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HDR10+ support.

Big-screen picture

This TV has Hi-QLED colour with a direct-lit LED backlight, which means bold, vibrant tones across the whole screen. It also has AI Picture, which means colour, contrast and motion are fine-tuned in real time as you watch.

This TV upscales lower-resolution sources to suit the 4K (3840 × 2160) screen, which means older shows and free-to-air TV fill the big screen more cleanly. Results still depend on the quality of the source.

Gaming and connections

This TV has a native 144Hz panel with variable refresh through AMD FreeSync Premium and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which means smoother motion and quicker response when you're gaming. VRR and low input lag are designed to help reduce stutter and tearing. High frame rates depend on your console, PC and game supporting them.

This TV has four HDMI inputs, two of them HDMI 2.1, which means you can keep your most demanding devices on the HDMI 2.1 ports. It also has two USB ports, Ethernet, optical audio out, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.

Movies and sound

This TV supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HDR10+, which means movies and shows made in these formats have more detail in the bright and dark parts of the picture. The built-in sound also supports Dolby Atmos.

This TV has HDMI eARC, which means you can connect a soundbar or AV receiver with one cable. A screen this size often pairs well with one.

Smart TV and apps

This TV runs VIDAA, which means Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Kayo, Binge, Foxtel Now, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, YouTube, ABC iView, SBS On Demand and 9Now are all in one place, along with a web browser. Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Kayo, Binge, Foxtel Now, Amazon Prime and Apple TV+ require an additional subscription and internet connection at additional cost.

This TV has Amazon Alexa built in and works with Google Home and Apple HomeKit, which means you can control it with your voice or from your smart home app. It has Apple AirPlay 2, which means you can share from compatible Apple devices. It also has a built-in HD tuner with Freeview, which means you can watch free-to-air TV alongside your apps.
