The Hisense 65'' S7SAU 4K Hi-QLED CanvasTV TV is a good fit for a living space where you want the TV to look like framed art on the wall. It is a 4K Hi-QLED TV with a matte Hi-Matte display, Art Gallery mode and a magnetic Teak bezel, plus a native 144Hz panel and Dolby Vision support.

Art and design

This TV has Art Gallery mode, which means you can show artworks or your own photos when you are not watching TV. It has a motion detector, which means the art comes up when you walk into the room and the screen powers down when you leave, helping save energy.

This TV comes with a magnetic Teak bezel. White and Walnut frames are sold separately. The CanvasTV is designed to sit close to the wall with its UltraSlim wall mount, like a picture frame.

Picture in bright rooms

This TV has Hi-QLED colour on an edge-lit LED panel, which means vibrant, true-to-life shades.

This TV has a Hi-Matte display with an anti-glare coating, which means fewer window reflections in a sunny room and a canvas-like look for art. Very strong direct light can still affect the picture, so placement matters.

Gaming and connections

This TV has a native 144Hz panel with variable refresh through AMD FreeSync Premium and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which means smoother motion and more responsive play. High frame rates depend on your console, PC and game supporting them.

This TV has four HDMI inputs, two of them HDMI 2.1, which means you can keep your most demanding devices on the HDMI 2.1 ports. It also has two USB ports, Ethernet, optical audio out and Wi-Fi 5.

Movies and sound

This TV supports HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, which means movies and shows made in these formats have more detail in the bright and dark parts of the picture.

This TV has HDMI eARC, which means you can connect a compatible soundbar with one cable for fuller sound.

Smart TV and apps

This TV runs VIDAA, which means Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Kayo, Binge, Foxtel Now, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, YouTube, ABC iView, SBS On Demand and 9Now are all in one place, along with a web browser. Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Kayo, Binge, Foxtel Now, Amazon Prime and Apple TV+ require an additional subscription and internet connection at additional cost.

This TV has Amazon Alexa built in and works with Google Home and Apple HomeKit, which means you can control it with your voice or from your smart home app. It has Apple AirPlay 2, which means you can share from compatible Apple devices. It also has a built-in HD tuner with Freeview, which means you can watch free-to-air TV alongside your apps.
