Why this model matters

The Hornby Uncoupler Unit provides a dedicated solution for remote uncoupling within an OO Gauge layout. Its specified placement at R600 straight-track joins or along an R601 double straight makes it suitable for incorporating controlled uncoupling points into a compatible Hornby track arrangement.

How to use it

Install the uncoupler where two Hornby R600 straights join or halfway along an R601 double straight. For electrical operation, pair the unit with an R8243 surface-mounted point motor or an R8014 point motor installed beneath the baseboard. The point motor is not included with the uncoupler unit. The supplied instructions provide installation guidance.
