San Francisco, 1978. Health inspector Matthew Bennell thinks nothing of it when a friend complains that her husband is somehow no longer himself - until the same strange reports begin spreading across the city. As mysterious flowering pods appear and the people around him grow cold and emotionless, Bennell uncovers a terrifying truth: an alien force is silently replacing humanity, one sleeper at a time - and there is no one left to trust. Philip Kaufman's acclaimed remake of the science-fiction classic remains one of the most chilling visions of paranoia ever put on screen. Starring Donald Sutherland, Brooke Adams, Leonard Nimoy, Jeff Goldblum and Veronica Cartwright. Presented from a new restoration.
