The Laser Multi-Region DVD Player makes it easy to enjoy favourite movies, television series, music and family media from an existing disc collection. With multi-region DVD playback, HDMI, composite AV and USB media support, it provides flexible connection and playback options for everyday home entertainment.
Multi-region compatibility allows the player to read compatible DVDs from multiple regions by default. This makes it useful for Australian households with international films, imported television series, hard-to-find titles or DVDs purchased overseas. It is especially practical for multicultural families who want to enjoy compatible entertainment from their home countries without being limited to one DVD region.
Key features:
- Multi-region DVD playback: Play compatible Australian and international DVDs, including imported movies, television series, educational programs and fitness content.
- Flexible TV connectivity: Connect to compatible modern televisions and projectors through HDMI, or use composite AV with supported older televisions and home entertainment systems.
- USB media playback: Play compatible videos, music and photos directly from a FAT32 USB storage device with a maximum supported capacity of 64GB.
- Wide disc support: Supports compatible DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, Picture CD, VCD and SVCD formats.
- Simple playback controls: Use the remote control to play, pause, stop, rewind, fast forward, move between tracks or chapters, adjust subtitles and navigate disc menus.
- Compact design: Fits neatly into living rooms, bedrooms, media units and other home entertainment spaces.
USB media compatibility:
Supported USB video formats include AVI, VOB and RMVB. Supported audio formats include MP3, WAV and WMA, while JPG files can be used for photo playback. Media playback may vary depending on factors such as file size, resolution, frame rate, codec and compression method.
Video and audio connection:
Video output is available up to 1080p through an HDMI connection. An HDMI cable is not included and is sold separately. Composite AV output provides an additional connection option for compatible televisions and equipment.
HDMI audio output supports stereo sound only. The analogue ML and MR connections provide mixed audio channels for compatible systems, but they do not provide true discrete Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1 analogue surround sound.
Everyday viewing:
The player is suited to family movie nights, classic television marathons, home fitness programs, educational content, music albums and personal media. Resume playback support can help continue compatible content from a previous playback position.
The player supports PAL, NTSC and Auto television systems. It uses an AC 100V-240V, 50/60Hz power supply, consumes 6W during operation and 1W or less in standby mode. Product dimensions are 22.5 x 22.5 x 3.8cm.
As Australia’s No.1 DVD player brand, Laser has helped Australian households enjoy movies, television series and family memories for years. This model is backed by local Australian customer support and a three-year warranty.
