Not yet reviewed.
The arrival of the five-litre category in the Australian Touring Car Championship sparked a new era of warfare between Holden and Ford in the 1990s, and paved the way for what we now know as the V8 Supercars Championship. Step back into the Seven Network’s motorsport archives archive to re-live some of the best races from the early years of this formative era, including Mark Skaife’s Holden debut at Amaroo Park in 1993, Skaife’s epic battle with former F1 champ Alan Jones at Symmons Plains in the same year, and the debut victory of “The Kid”, Craig Lowndes, for Holden Racing Team at Eastern Creek in 1996.
