1990, ROUND 3 | STEELERS 41 – 6 SEAGULLS Having never beaten the Seagulls the Steelers came out firing in a brutal display of attacking football, running in seven tries to record in impressive victory.
1991, ROUND 14 | STEELERS 19 – 2 BRONCOS After losing the 1989 Panasonic Cup Final to the Broncos the Steelers were looking for redemption and under to tutelage of Graham Murray the Steelers were not to be denied, recording their first ever victory over their northern rivals.
1992, ROUND 21 | STEELERS 10 – 8 SEA EAGLES Running in two tries to one the Steelers were able to hold off their more fancied rivals securing a guaranteed top four finish and a semi-finals berth for the first time in club history.
1992, MAJOR PRELIMINARY SEMI-FINAL | STEELERS 18 – 16 DRAGONS After making the finals for the first time in club history the Steelers were determined to make the most of their opportunity managing to edge out their future joint venture partners and record their first ever finals victory.
1998, ROUND 23 | STEELERS 30 – 22 SHARKS In a historic moment for the Illawarra club the Steelers run in five tries including a double to Jonathan Britten to record their last win as a stand-alone club.
